Some changes do not need a scalpel. Fine lines show up. The face feels a little tired. Skin loses its snap. A few pockets of fat hang on. At Premier Aesthetics, non-surgical aesthetics in Syracuse, NY, gives patients a practical way to treat those concerns with care that feels personal and not rushed. Dr. Leo J. Urbinelli offers the same exact care and good thinking you would hope for in surgery, but applies them to treatments that don’t require recovery time. This is a perfect choice for anyone who wants a subtle improvement without a major commitment. It’s also great for patients trying non-surgical cosmetic treatments in Syracuse, NY, for the first time, who want a strategy that still seems smart.
Dr. Urbinelli doesn’t view non-surgical aesthetics as just a simple injection or a fast clinic visit. Instead, he carefully checks the face, skin, and body to see how every option works for the person as a whole.
At Premier Aesthetics, the goal is balance. Better skin texture. Softer lines. More lift where it makes sense. Less heaviness where it does not. Dr. Urbinelli uses his experience to guide treatment choices so patients are not pushed toward something they do not need.
People usually come in with a few concerns at once. Dr. Urbinelli knows that. The face rarely changes in one neat category.
Neurotoxins remain one of the most common ways to soften motion lines. At Premier Aesthetics, Dr. Urbinelli offers a range of options so treatment can be matched to the patient, not forced into a single brand or style. That includes Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, Xeomin, and Letybo.
These treatments are often used for forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. In the right hands, they should not freeze expression. They should calm the overworked look that can build up over time. That is the real goal.
Where neurotoxins can help
Dr. Urbinelli’s approach is measured. He tends to favor a natural result that still lets the face move. That matters more than a perfectly smooth forehead.
Fillers can do more than plump one spot. They can restore structure. They can soften shadows. They can help the face look less tired without changing identity. Dr. Urbinelli offers several filler choices, including Restylane, Juvederm, Versa, Sculptra, Aloclae, and Lipoderma.
These products are used for different goals. Some are better for lines. Some for volume. Some for deeper support. That is why the consultation matters so much. The right filler in the wrong place still gives the wrong result.
Common filler uses
Dr. Urbinelli often uses fillers to improve contour in a way that feels quiet. Not obvious. Just better. That is usually what patients want when they ask for help but do not want to look “done.”
Good skin treatment does not start and stop with a device. It also lives in what people use every day.
Premier Aesthetics has high-quality skin care products like NOON, SkinMedica, and Alastin. Dr. Urbinelli usually suggests these products to keep your skin healthy both before and after your in-office treatment.
This part gets overlooked too often. Skin quality changes how everything else looks. Tone. Texture. Glow. Healing. Even small improvements can make a larger treatment look better.
Skin care can help with
Dr. Urbinelli recommends products based on the skin in front of him. That sounds simple. It is. But that simplicity usually gets better results.
Premier Aesthetics offers advanced treatments that help with skin and body concerns without traditional surgery. Dr. Urbinelli uses these tools to address different layers of the problem.
These treatments may help with
Premier Aesthetics is offering the following services in Syracuse, New York:
Patients tend to want honesty here. What will help? What will not. How long will the results last? What needs maintenance? Dr. Urbinelli gives that kind of guidance. He has the eye to see small changes and the judgment to keep them from going too far.
Non-surgical work often comes after life has already changed a person a little. Age, stress, weight shifts, sun exposure, and genetics. It adds up. Premier Aesthetics offers a place to address those changes without pretending they are not real.
What patients often appreciate
Dr. Urbinelli also understands that non-surgical care is often the starting point, not the end. For some patients, it leads to a bigger plan later. For others, it is all they need. Both are fine.
The value of non-surgical aesthetics is simple. It gives you options. Some treatments improve the face. Others support the body. Some soften lines while others tighten and tone. Dr. Urbinelli uses that range to build a plan that addresses the patient’s top priority.
There is no need to overcomplicate it. Start with the concern. Match the treatment. Adjust as needed later. That approach saves time and usually feels easier, too.
Non-surgical aesthetics features treatments such as injectables, topical skin care, chemical peels, lasers, micro-coring, microneedling and other advanced tools to improve collagen production, minimize the signs of aging, improve the health of our largest organ – skin and can improve the appearance and health of your face and body without the need for surgery/operation.
Depending on the treatment some results last 3 months (Botox and other neurotoxins) and others are permanent (fat reduction via laser lipolysis Sculpsure as it melts and permanently kills fat under the applicator, never to return!). Other non-invasive options like skin care is a daily regimen that requires a patient’s long term sustained commitment for a long lasting visible result but once achieved it is well-worth the investment of time and energy into medial grade skin care. Fillers can last 6-18 months for hyaluronic acid based fillers and 2-5 years for bioactive fillers like Sculptra. Collagen production and skin improvement (thickness, tone, plumping and smoothness) from topical devices such as a series of microneedling, or topical radiofrequency sessions with Tempsure, Evoke, Evolve X likely last 2-3 years, however every year we lose ~5% of collagen. Therefore we think of and offer these treatments as maintenance regimens. We recommend yearly packages for sustained improvement (just like going to the gym – if you don’t use it you lose it), if you don’t stimulate the collagen you lose the collagen.
No. They are very tolerable and many feel like a warm stone massage or relaxing topical care (Sculpsure, Tempsure, Evolve, Evoke). The more stimulating procedures (lasers, deep peels, microcoring with Ellacor or microneedling) we can often numb the skin with topical creams or injectables or offer patients a short “puff” of pronox (nitrous) to help ease the pain of injectables or lasers so the patient can get a fantastic thorough treatment while still able to drive themselves home or on their lunch break from work.
Yes. Many treatments complement one another. Botox with fillers (one reduces wrinkle formation, the other can fill depressions or fine lines that have already stubbornly formed). Sculpsure with Tempsure for fat reduction and skin tone improvement. Fractional Laser with microneedling and topical exosomes or growth factors like PDGF to penetrate the skin after microinjury to help the body heal faster and initiate collagen formation more briskly.
A person of good overall health, non-smoker, who is off blood thinners and not-pregnant and a non-nursing mother who wants an aesthetic improvement but has realistic expectations for a subtle but significant enhancement in skin health and/or appearance. Non-surgical approaches are broad and readily available option to anyone looking for an aesthetic improvement, with quick results, minimal to no downtime who might be hesitant or nervous to try a surgical approach and wants a lower risk, less invasive and lower priced procedure/skin care. Anyone who wants to invest in themselves and their skin is a great candidate for skin care. Take care of your skin, so it can take care of you

He took his time to explain everything so we all knew exactly everything occurring. In addition to his expert knowledge sand work, he's also very personable Colleen VolmutTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After doing a thorough research for a plastic surgeon, I had a consultation with Dr Leo Urbanelli I immediately felt at ease talking to him about what I was hoping to accomplish. His depth of his knowledge and skill as a surgeon became obvious as he discussed the variations of my options. Dr. Leo would look at a particular area of my face and tell me what he could do and how it would look. He spent a great deal of time with me and answered all my questions and concerns. We both decided what would be the best procedure for me. I am just 8 weeks post surgery and my face, neck and brow lifts came out so much better than I could have possibly imagined. The stages of my recovery were exactly what he said they would be. I knew what to expect and how I would feel as my recovery progressed. He truly takes great pride in his work and cares deeply for his patients. He has always been available day, night and even weekends. He is an incredibly talented surgeon and the most thoughtful person you will ever meet. He is a true artist. Debi SuarezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience. I was extremely nervous going into this, and from the very first appointment, he made me feel completely at ease. He took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and truly understand my concerns. He treated a cyst-like spot for me and repaired an area that kept reopening, something that had been both frustrating and worrisome. The results have been amazing, and I couldn’t be happier. Not only did he fix the issue, but he did so with such care and precision. What really stood out to me was his kindness and attention to detail. At one point, he even noticed and studied some of my old scars, which honestly made me giggle—it’s clear he sees things through a very skilled and thoughtful lens. His passion for what he does really shows. I’m so grateful I trusted him with something I was so scared to do. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented, compassionate surgeon. Nikki Ann WaltersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I met with Dr. Leo in 2025 with anxiety and hesitation, I left with hope. During my visit he was patient, empathetic, and kind. He brought to light an issue of Lipedema that has plagued me for decades. After two procedures, I can say his professional skills and bedside manner are unmatched. I’m looking forward to a life of no limitations and more confidence, while looking better than I have in years. Thank you! Emily DygertTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Urbinelli is the best! He performed a breast reduction on me in December 2024 and choosing him as my surgeon was the best decision I have ever made. My results are exactly what I asked for and my self-confidence has increased tremendously. I am now able to live an active lifestyle without being uncomfortable or in pain. I consulted with other surgeons and none of them made me feel as confident and comfortable as Dr. Urbinelli did. He treats his patients like family and it is so evident that he loves what he does. Anytime I had a question or concern, Dr. Urbinelli got me in the office within one or two days to address my concern (and often offered to do virtual appointments so I didn’t have to take too much time out of my day to travel to the office). Upstate NY is so lucky to have a plastic surgeon as knowledgeable, professional, and talented as Dr. Urbinelli. I would recommend him to anyone! He was great, honest , gave me realistic expectations, responsive , kind and delivered exactly the results I was hoping for. We discussed several pathways to get the refreshed look I was hoping for, and he discussed it with me with so much patience . These are my before and afters only a short time after the procedure ! I cannot praise Dr. Urbinelli and the staff of Syracuse Plastic Surgery enough for the care which was given to me during my recent surgery and recovery. Dr. Urbinelli is caring person and an artist at what he does. He was responsive to all my needs especially due to an unforeseen issue during my recovery. Dr. Urbinelli even made a house call to teach my sister how to dress my wound. I traveled far from Las Vegas to Syracuse, NY because he is a reconstructive facial specialist. I am so pleased with my results. I highly recommend Dr. Urbinelli for any reconstructive or plastic surgery you may need. Sam BredenbeckTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I waited as long as possible to write this review because I was holding out hope that I could leave a rave, 5-star review, but I can't. I had a revision surgery in August of 2023, in an attempt to correct my breathing and fix countless issues the first surgeon left behind. Knowing this surgery wouldn't be a small task, I tried to remain patient and hopeful with Dr. Urbinelli and team that all would go great. It didn't. My breathing is the same, if not worse, than before (which is terrible). It feels like I am suffocating all day, every day. The aesthetic of my nose has gotten worse (fat, asymmetrical, twisted, etc.). The columella scar is still visible. Swelling refuses to go down. I still have a septal perforation, collapsed nasal valves, deviated septum, and enlarged turbinates. He used a cadaver rib, which seems to be curved and feels rock hard, which is extremely annoying. I have a foul odor that has been persistent since surgery. And when I can't smell that, my sense of smell is practically non-existent. The entire process has been miserable and extremely frustrating. I did everything (and more) that I was told. Taping, Vaseline, elevation, icing, no exercise, sprays, cleanses, follow-up appts. every single thing. Yet, I still can't breathe, my nose looks terrible, in my opinion...and I'm out thousands of dollars. I am bummed to leave a poor review because I truly did want it to be positive, but I can't at this time. The surgery failed, and now I'm left with very few options to actually get this fixed. Regretful is an understatement. Dr. Urbinelli is nice, did a good job with bedside manner, and the anesthesiologist did a great job. Unfortunately, the office staff and Dr. Urbinelli were unresponsive many times after surgery, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Overall, it is frustrating, mentally debilitating, and I'm at a loss for what to do next. If you're looking to get surgery done for breathing issues or reconstruction of the nasal area, I would suggest going to a nose specialist instead of a general plastic surgeon.
